Life Skills Institute, (further known as “LSI”) a program of Resurrection House, is a long-term, live-in educational facility.
This is a unique, non-government, Christian residential living and program facility available to individuals and families who have been dealing with struggles in life from getting out of financial devastation, homelessness, rehab or any other lifestyle that requires help for a safe transition to real-life situations. LSI has 37 total rooms. By offering a 1-2-year program in a private campus-style environment, LSI can work towards bridging the gap from homelessness to independent living and becoming a positive contributing member of mainstream society. Residents are required to pay an income-based program fee, and, in return, learn safe, structured private apartment style housing with workshops and education towards personal financial independence and other life skills. Additionally, daily meals are provided to ensure proper nutrition. A loving volunteer base leads life skills workshops helping residents to assimilate and handle real life situations outside of a shelter environment.
